I first got into Tai chi after reading about Daoism and eastern philosophy, and, after learning of the conection between philosophies and the art itself, began taking my first tentative steps towards learning Tai Chi. Within a short time I realised I was gaining an increased awareness of both the mental and physical side of myself, while becoming a more relaxed person.
Through the practice of Tai Chi, I hope to continue improving myself and developing an understanding of the yin/ yang balance in life, with the knowledge that neither can be held too firmly or loosely.
Sean has been practicing with the Master Ding Academy for five years, during which he has taken part in many workshops and retreats across Europe with the organisation. He has been assisting with Tai Chi instruction in Dublin for the past three years.
