Kayoko Harima-Campbell

I am Japanese living in Northern Ireland since 1998. The reason I became a therapist was simply because I had doubts about totally depending on western medicine although my parents were working in the medical field.

Being Japanese, I was fortunate that I had always been surrounded with holistic medicine and I could get information very easily about different kinds of massages, Chinese medicine, Reiki, various kinds of diet, exercise and any information that leads to being healthy.

When I came to N.Ireland, it was quite difficult to find a place that offered a simple but decent massage and holistic treatments. My answer was quite simple, I wanted to learn these treatments myself in order to offer people sound holistic advice.
Since I started working as a therapist in 2003, I have a much deeper understanding of the meaning holistic.

I have learnt several holistic techniques with Reflexology being my main treatment, I also do Swedish, Aromatherapy , Tuina & Hot Stone massage, Hopi Candle treatment, Moxibustion, Japanese diet workshops (similar to Macrobiotic) and Japanese facials using natural Japanese cosmetics.

Japanese facials are also very popular. The skin is the mirror of your health. If you have healthy, beautiful skin, you know you are healthy in every way. I use the natural Japanese cosmetics for external and Japanese food supplements for internal beauty.

“As a therapist and lecturer with over forty years clinical experience, I would say Kayoko is one of the best reflexologists I have ever encountered - and being Japanese is an additional bonus! With her gentle demeanour, her hands apppear to be extensions of her spirit and soothe more than just the physical body. Her holistic approach mnakes every treatment a truly healing experience from which one emerges refreshed, rejuvenated and relaxed. Kayoko factors everything into the experience, from physical and mental wellbeing to emotional rebalancing. It is an experience that gives me true serenity. She is equally committed to providing quality treatment and aftercare and to this end is very diligent and enthusiastic in keeping updated professionally. Her versatility and adaptability combined with her courteous nature make it a joy to be treated by her in any environment.”
