Jenny Meagor - BA BSc OMBAcC
Jenny received her degree in Chinese Medicine Acupuncture from the University of Westminster in London. During her four year's of study she trained in the public Cavendish Street Polyclinic in central London and in the NHS in pain management.
Her dissertation was on the use of acupuncture in IVF treatment.
Jenny is from Dublin and previously studied English and Art History at UCD before deciding natural health was her calling. She started her career in London's prestigous Harley Street and then moved to leafy Hertfordshire where she was kept very busy working in the area of fertility.
Aside from fertility, Jenny is experienced in treating severe anxiety, depression and sleep disturbance. Jenny sees patients with a wide variety of health issues and is regarded for her ability to work alongside GP's and conventional therapists, advocating an integrative healthcare model. Jenny has also specialised training from experts in the UK in the areas of electro-acupuncture treatment and in womens' health and fertility.
Jenny works in association with Sims IVF clinic in Dublin. She sees patients in the clinic on the day of embryo transfer which is a highly unique position. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the biggest organisation of practitioners in the UK and Ireland, with over 3,000 registered members, ensuring the highest standards in practice and research. She is also qualified in cupping and moxibustion techniques. She is a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network, a dedicated group of specialists who are committed to providing assistance to couples trying to conceive.
Jenny offers a free 10 minute telephone consultation to new patients who wish to discuss their condition prior to their appointment.
