Elaine is a qualified Bowen Technique Practitioner & Indian Head Massage Therapist. She obtained her qualifications from the European College of Bowen Studies and the Dublin Holistic Healing Centre. Originally from Edinburgh she has based herself in Dublin for nearly 10 years. With a strong and ever growing passion and appreciation of complimentary therapies, she is a firm believer in "hands on” healing techniques. “We should never underestimate the highly effective and powerful remedies complimentary therapies have to offer".

The Bowen Technique treatment originates from Australia and is based on the principle that the body instinctively knows how to heal itself. The practitioner acts as a facilitator in a dialogue with the body involving small rolling type moves over muscle and connective tissue. All who practice the Bowen Technique are continuously amazed at the effectiveness of this simple and gentle complimentary therapy for a wide range of conditions.

Indian Head Massage is based on the ancient ayurvedic healing system and has been practised in India for thousands of years. This seated non oil treatment uses a compression technique, to soothe away tension, promoting relaxation and relieving stress.

Elaine is delighted to be part of the team at the Dublin Holistic Centre where she can offer clients healing with her caring and intuitive nature. Elaine understands the essential balance that is required to maintain equilibrium in our ever busy lives. Her goal as a complementary therapist is for her clients to reach this healthy equilibrium.
