Ann-Cathrin, of Dublin Child and Teenage Counselling has worked in the caring professions in Sweden and Ireland since 1990.

She studied Psychology in UCD and Trinity College, where she graduated from the Single Honor Psychology program 2003.

After completing The Tivoli Institute`s professional diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy she specialised in work with children and adolescents.

Ann-Cathrin does both short-term and long-term therapy, and uses an integrative approach, that include both non-directive play therapy and more directive Cognitive- Behavioural techniques, depending on the needs of the child and his/her parents.If parents like to come for child behaviour consultation, this can be arranged too.

Common issues for referral are: Anxiety, bed-wetting, exam-stress, bullying, special needs, parental separation and bereavement.
