What is the Bowen Technique
The Bowen Technique is a gentle, non-invasive holistic therapy that triggers the body's healing systems and rebalances energy.
This technique is safe to use on anyone, from infants to the elderly and for any musculo-skeletal or neurological complaints. It is an holistic treatment which treats the whole person and aims to treat the cause of problems, rather than the symptoms.

What happens in a Bowen technique treatment
A Bowen Technique treatment will take approx 45-60 mins. A treatment consists of a series of specific sequences of movements with frequent pauses to allow time for the body to respond, tissues to re-hydrate and healing to commence. The therapist uses only thumbs and fingers to make gentle rolling movements over muscles, ligaments and tendons at precise points.
