WHAT IS YOGA THERAPY?
Yoga therapy uses physical postures, breathing practices, relaxation techniques and meditation to help restore body/mind balance and promote natural healing.
Once you have learned the practices appropriate to your condition you will be able to use them to care for your own health.
Contrary to popular myth, you do not have to be fit or flexible to benefit from yoga or yoga therapy. Yoga as a therapy is wonderful in addressing specific physical or emotional limitations. In a general sense, we can address things like back problems, below mentioned illnesses, toning certain muscle groups post injury or just generally, relaxation techniques, meditation practices which suit your mind activity, whatever your personal goal is, each session will be tailored to meet that goal.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION?
The first session involves an initial consultation to enable the teacher to understand your specific requirements and can last an hour and a half. Thereafter sessions usually take between 45 mins – 1 hour.
