By approaching the body from a softer, more passive place, we can go deeper into the experience than we normally would in tension-focused, faster movement practices.
It is an excellent complementary practice to more ‘yang’-type activites – e.g., sport, running, excessive 'busy-ness' - bringing balance and harmony within our bodies.
